Summary

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who can manage multiple complex projects at once and still have a client facing attitude. This person would have a clear understanding of all aspects of assigned projects and communicate effectively to team. Projects could include a variety of healthcare, education, light industrial, multi-family or commercial work.

Client Details

The Senior Project Manager serves as the senior on-site company representative responsible for managing all operational requirements in the greater Milwaukee area. If client facing interaction is more your thing, there is opportunity to take that path as well. Description

  • Ability to lead and manage projects inside construction settings, along with a team of PM's and PE's
  • Provide professional leadership in negotiation and problem resolution during the project
  • Review and approve invoices
  • Ability to provide precise communication to team members, owners and architects
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly progress team meetings
  • Develop project budgets to achieve clients financial objectives; validate time and expenses to stay within budget and accurately track the work that is being performed

Profile

  • Desire 4-year degree or industry equivalency in architecture, engineering or construction but not a deal-breaker
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of commercial construction experience
  • Broad business administration and technical construction industry knowledge
  • Experience running ground-up projects on your own
  • Effective communication skills to motivate your team
  • The fortitude to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Multi-tasking with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial

  • Salary up for negotiation for the right person (can be between $120k and up to $140k)
