Job Summary

$2500 Sign-On Bonus Offered Between October 15, 2020 and November 30, 2020

Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea is an 85-bed long term skilled care and transitional care facility located in southern Minnesota in an area known as "The Land Between the Lakes". In addition to the care center, the campus also provides assisted living and senior housing services at its Hidden Creek and Bancroft Creek Estates Senior Living Communities.
  • Part Time - 40 hours a pay period
  • Evening Shift - 445pm to 845pm during the weekdays, 245pm to 1115pm during the weekend
  • Rotating weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities
  • This position provides services to residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform the following according to location standards and procedures.
  • Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assists residents with keeping living areas and common areas clean and operational.
  • Assists in tasks related to dining and food preparation (escorting residents, setting, busing and cleaning tables, cooking, serving meals, and dishwashing.
  • Provides assistance with tours and wellness or recreational programs and encourages residents to participate.
  • Observes residents, provides or assists with documentation.
  • Responds promptly and appropriately to residents.
  • Demonstrates safe and proper techniques for chemical use, and follows SDS guidelines for any exposure.
  • Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines.

Qualifications
  • A high school education or higher education is not required to be hired into this job.
  • Basic ability to communicate and comprehend.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
