OverviewThe Director of Clinic Operations provides administrative oversight of all organizational and operational aspects of the clinical teams' department. The Director is responsible for the daily operation of the clinic, developing and maintaining appropriate staffing to support the practices of the physician in the most efficient manner, implementing corporate policies and procedures in the outpatient settings and serving as a leader of the process to continually provide the highest level of patient care possible.Responsibilities/Job DescriptionThe Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the clinic and is the primary contact for staff and providers on a daily basis.Developing and managing the departmental budget on an on-going basis.Works to assure that the needs of new provider practices and new service lines are adequately met.The director has the lead role in assuring patient satisfaction is maximized in the outpatient setting.Responsible to see that the hiring and training process meets the needs of the department and the organization.Cooperate and work with other departments within the facility to enhance patient care and interdepartmental cooperation.Demonstrate ability to identify problems and implement solutions with an appropriate process that will lead to enhanced operations of the department and organization.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of leadership and performance management experience in a primary care clinic setting.Proven ability to work within a team, foster teamwork, and develop team approach with supervised staff.Experience with multi-specialty environment.Preferred:Master's degree
