Parts and Service Sales Representative (PSSR) - Rapid City Region

Overview:
Butler Machinery is in search of a passionate individual who can build strong relationships with customers. A Parts and Service Sales Representative assists salesmen with customer presentations, markets and sells the value of our parts and service and finds new customers within the territory. Responsibilities:
•    Establishes customer relationships.
•    Assists salesmen with customer presentations
•    Communicates with Product support Manager to relay parts and service opportunities as well as progress on tasks assigned, etc.
•    Markets and sells the value of parts and service.
•    Finds new markets, customers and applications within territory.
•    Develops good knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
•    Provides input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
•    Resolve customer issues.
•    Works with Parts and Service Managers on goals and marketing ideas.
•    Measures undercarriage of equipment.
•    Provides the customer with information to manage their equipment at the lowest cost per hour.
•    Keeps good customer records.
•    Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
•    Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•    Advanced computer skills essential (Word Documents, PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.)
•    Service and parts background or knowledge of Service operations preferred.
•    Sales experience or aptitude for selling required.
•    Ability to think strategically, make decisions, develop relationships, handle conflict, negotiate, present ideas, use resources effectively, and display mechanical aptitude.
•    Must have and maintain a clean driving record
•    Ability to work extra hours with short notice
•    Overnight travel as needed
