Business Analyst

This is a key analyst position, providing critical support for Business Transformation efforts focused upon improved efficiency and effectiveness of front and back office operations. This position requires an experienced business analyst with a strong services industry background, although no previous staffing experience required.

This position requires an individual who has the ability to facilitate the understanding and documentation of business requirements across brands in a challenging and fast-paced environment focused on winning through thought leadership, good judgment, teamwork, expertise and innovation.

The role of the Business Analyst is to document business requirements, measure and collect data to support the development of detailed requirements, document use cases or other forms of usage information, and document test cases. This person must possess good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills to uncover and fully understand the business operations.

Must be fluent in business process mapping, use case development, and test case development. Must have the ability to provide support to both technical and strategic efforts.

Duties

• Gather business requirements and ensure they are well understood by SMEs, IT, and external consultants
• Ensure consistency is kept for all business requirement documentation including following a change control process
• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to create/improve business process models, which reflect appropriate solutions to their business needs.
• Document test cases

Qualifications

• 5 years business analysis experience in IT.
• A degree with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Communication or related field preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Visio
• Acceptable in Microsoft Project

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or Lean Sigma experience preferred, not required
• CBAP a plus
• Project Management experience
• Staffing industry experience.
