Social Worker - Child Protection Specialist

Polk County Social Services is looking for a qualified individual to fill a permanent Social Worker - Child Protection Specialist position. The position is responsible for following agency, state, and federal requirements while providing: evaluation and assessment of children and families seeking/requiring services, intervention to children who are allegedly experiencing abuse/neglect, and/or case management designed to maintain children in their homes, reunify families or ensure they are placed in permanent settings. Individuals interested in being considered for the position must be Minnesota Merit System eligible to work in the Social Worker - Child Protection Specialist classification.

Starting salary for the position is $26.25 per hour with benefits. Deadline to apply is November 13, 2020.
