IT Business Systems Analyst - Extended Reality (Finance)Remote-based position on interim basis only due to Covid-19 Pandemic. CAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVES The Medtronic Digital Health organization contains technology teams focused on next generation capabilities which deliver on our Company mission through driving new and innovative technology approaches to addresses challenges in health care. This role will operate within a sub-group of the broader Digital Health team, focused on bringing Extended Reality (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality & Mixed reality) solutions across the Medtronic enterprise and to our customers. We are looking for a IT Business Analyst, focusing on strategy, architecture, design, development, and quality efforts within this technology team to implement new capabilities and services supporting Medtronic globally. A DAY IN THE LIFE Responsible for solving complex business problems using our Extended Reality technology stack effectively to drive business process improvements Responsible and owner of process design for assigned Extended Reality solutions from an IT perspective. Lead complex business requirement discussions. Gather, evaluate and document customer business needs and requirements and translate these into functional specifications that balance optimization across the technology portfolio with the needs of the business. Support feasibility studies, project assessments & initiation (scoping, risk management and estimation). Participate in project and design reviews and XR story boarding efforts to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, principles, and standards. Responsible for driving changes and enhancements through the change management process, including project management, communication with stakeholders, users, and developers; performing functional unit tests, coordinating user acceptance testing, completing cutover tasks, and providing hypercare support. Responsible for design and configuration of modules and features for XR. Duties include performing diagnostics, resolution of technical integration and performance issues, and communicating with business and vendor resources to complete projects. Align & communicate with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert Demonstrate software in the context of business requirements and value proposition. Organize / facilitate functional workshops and education sessions Develop product and domain knowledge / expertise. Analyze and help resolve software related issues from the support team and recommend solutions. Exhibits self-motivation, enthusiasm, and positive attitude while performing as a team player. MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's degree 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 0+ years of experience with an advanced degreeNICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications) Understanding of XR technology (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality) Experience with Medical Education, Training, Manufacturing and Clinical Familiarity with XR hardware and deployments - Oculus, Hololens, Vuzix, etc... Training on integration technology such as JSON/XML in an enterprise environment Previous working experiences within Life Sciences environment Good understanding of SDLC and/or Agile project management methodology Vendor management experience Unity, Unreal, Steam, OpenXR, OpenVR and other XR frameworks Microsoft XR strack a plus (Hololens) ARKit & ARCore Application development & deployment with Oculus platform Mobile App development with iOS & Android Experience with organizing and communicating with global teams Proven communication skills Demonstrated experience in executive-level communications and messaging Experience facilitating large disparate groups Experience working with Technical team members Previous working experiences within Life Sciences environment Good understanding of SDLC and/or Agile project management methodology Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work in a high pace environment and with aggressive project schedules Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff and executive management Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational activities Fast learner with the ability to quickly master new applications and develop domain knowledge Strong client facing and presentation skills Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-energy and fast-paced environment Passion to contribute to high-quality services and solutions Team player comfortable to work in an international and culturally diverse team Willing and able to travel on occasion (5-10%) Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with ambiguity Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and positive attitude and perform as a team player.ABOUT MEDTRONIC Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
