Job Title: IT Technician

Wauwatosa, WI

Duties:
Reporting to the manager of IT Operations, this individual will be primarily responsible for replacing existing end users' old PCs with new PCs as part of our PC refresh process at Briggs locations in the Milwaukee area. This includes following proper documentation and using approved tools as specified by the Briggs & Stratton IT Department. -Collaborates IT team and support partners to refresh the designated PC fleet -Acts as a liaison between IT and end users -Supports a great PC refresh customer experience -Communicates with customers internally and externally to schedule, track and deliver the PC refresh program -Performs other duties as assigned -Following covid-safe work requirements

Skills and Experience:
-Basic knowledge of and experience with setting up PCs and PC maintenance, loading and testing software, anti-virus, Windows OS, Google Apps and Microsoft Office -Ability to read, understand and write English. (This is required to serve as the liaison between the IT Department and the end users.) Proficiency in English is preferred.
-Following directions and a documented PC refresh process and the escalation process

-Organizational skills that includes tracking statprogress and scheduling activities with users

-Customer service skills

-Analytical troubleshooting and problem solving skills are required -Professionalism
Keywords:

Education: Associate (or equivalent) degree in IT / Computer Science or related field required. Education can be substituted with two or more years commensurate experience implementing and supporting personal computers in a company environment.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows Desktop support preferred
Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
