Job Summary

  • This role will cover several departments in the building to include; Activities Assistant, Cooking, and Yard maintenance
  • No Experience is required, but is helpful
  • This is an on call role that will need to work 5 shifts (or more) per month with at least 2 being on a Saturday or Sunday

Job Responsibilities
  • This position is responsible for providing activities that meet residents' needs, lead or assist with conducting activities programming
  • Follow appropriate and adequate safety measures while on outings and in the center
  • Assist in tasks related to resident as necessary; to include, but not limited to assisting resident in ensuring proper clothing/appearance, escorting resident, and participating in the dining experience (setting, busing and cleaning tables, serving meals, etc.)
  • Properly store food items with labels and dates placed on all items and containers
  • Properly clean/sanitize supplies/equipment according to set schedule. Follow proper guidelines/policies regarding pets/animals
  • Performs preventive maintenance on location and equipment, completes repairs as needed or requested, lawn care, and snow removal

Qualifications
  • Ability and desire to be creative in adapting programs and supplies to meet individual resident needs
  • Ability to measure certain quantiles and volumes
  • Valid Drivers License
