JOB SUMMARY

The Benefits Specialist administers, coordinates, and communicates the benefit programs for Altru Health System and ensures these programs are in compliance with government laws and regulations and in accordance with Altru Health System policy. Monitors leave of absences and ensures compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act and the American with Disabilities Act.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED :

Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Personnel Management, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Computer skills, i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

• Experience in Human Resources to include administration of employee benefit programs, project development, systems application and data analysis.
