Job Summary

MN Background Study with Minnesota Department of Human Services; Prior to Start Date
Basic Life Support from American Heart Association; Within 2 months of Start Date

The Installation Technician is responsible for quoting, invoicing and installing modifications. This position serves as a resource for team members and assist with assembly, maintenance and delivery of equipment. The technician is responsible for continual compliance of fleet vehicle maintenance.
Essential Job Functions
- Assesses, measures, obtains quotes, and generates invoices. Installs home and vehicle modifications to include but not limited to stair lifts, elevators, platform lifts, walk-in bathtubs, roll in showers, grab bars, ramps, vehicle lifts and ceiling lifts. Identifies other needed items to enhance patient safety.
- Maintains vehicle fleet to include general maintenance, cleaning and vehicle logs.
- Conducts deliveries, pick-ups, and mail outs. Monitors the warehousing of parts, products and equipment. Keeps inventory stored in an orderly fashion and ensures area is kept clean. Tracks inventory items, documents inventory numbers of items rented and sold, conducts preventative maintenance of assigned equipment and contacts appropriate staff. Completes required paperwork/documentation and communication.
- Serves as back up to the Rehabilitation Assistant and Rehabilitation Technician with oversight from the Lead Rehabilitation Technician and/or Assistive Technology Professional when necessary. Assembles rehabilitation technology equipment, conducts repair and maintenance on rehabilitation equipment, and performs other duties as assigned.
- Provides input and development of the applicable sales and marketing plan and participates in ongoing sales and marketing activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
