Responsibilities:
· Teaching educational leadership courses at the graduate level (master's degree, specialist degree, and doctoral degree).
· Teaching and supervising graduate students in P-12 and higher education settings, outreach programs, and online settings.
· Advising graduate students.
· Provide services to P-12 schools and the University.
· Participate in activities that contribute to the professional field of educational leadership.
· Conduct research that leads to presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
· Participate in professional development activities.
· Participate in departmental activities related to accreditation and other departmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Ph.D. or Ed.D. by start date of employment.
· Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students of diverse backgrounds.
· Evidence of research that has led to presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
· Administrative or teaching experience in a P-12 setting.
· Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with doctoral students in instructional and dissertation advisory capacities.
· Administrative experience in a higher education or corporate setting.
· Experience teaching graduate students in online courses.
· Experience with special education processes, procedures, and legal issues.
· Experience working in more than one administrative capacity in P-12 or higher education settings.
