SANDBLASTER / PAINT PREP

Sandblaster/Paint Prep for a manufacturing company.  Work closely with production personnel and engineers to prepare equipment for sandblasting and painting. Receive work orders from the production manager, consolidate parts for specific paint colors.  Hang parts on carts for sandblasting. Cleans and prepare surface for painting, using air-powered sandblasting equipment.. Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces.  Move parts from the paint booth to assembly area

Flexibility is required as job responsibilities will change as needed assisting in other areas of manufacturing.  Utilize hand and power tools to perform necessary job duties.  Must be able to obtain forklift certification (training on-site) and operate overhead cranes.
