Job Summary

$2500 Sign-On Bonus Offered Between October 15, 2020 and November 30, 2020

Good Samaritan Society - Comforcare (Austin) is a 45-bed long term care and transitional care facility located along the Cedar River in Southeastern Minnesota.
  • Full Time - 64 hours a pay period
  • Day Shift - 600am to 230pm
  • Rotating weekends and holidays

  • Assistance with the costs to transfer credentials to Minnesota if needed

Job Responsibilities
  • This position helps residents by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs; providing comfort, transportation and vital sign monitoring.
  • Provides resident centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, psychosocial support and other personal cares.
  • Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.
  • Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment; provides range of motion and passive exercise.
  • Documents resident cares and behaviors according to Society policy, procedure and regulations.
  • Handles and disposes of linens, soiled clothing or supplies properly; follows consistent hand washing and Personal Protective Equipment use.

Qualifications
  • Must be listed as a current Certified Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or ability to become listed on the Minnesota Registry.
