Parts Applications Clerk – Corporate

Overview: Butler Machinery is in search of an analytical thinker who can manage and grow our eCommerce platform. If you have experience with excel and like to analyze data sets this may be the job for you. In this position you will have the opportunity to develop relationships throughout the organization while acting as the primary contact for parts processes surrounding the company’s reman program as well as parts claims. Responsibilities:

•    Complete and manage customer registrations for eCommerce platform

•    Manage eCommerce platform system parameters and performance

•    Assist in customer troubleshooting for eCommerce platform

•    Submit, monitor, and reconcile parts claims to OEM partners

•    Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for stores on parts claims

•    Review, implement, and maintain secondary sales channels for obsolete inventory

•    Act as the subject matter expert and point of contact for stores on process and issues for cores processing

•    Assist with month end closing processes and parts accounting relating to cores

•    Assist as needed for Parts Inventory Control functions

•    Work within and promote vision, mission, and values of BMC

•    Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

•    An Associate degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting or related field OR equivalent experience and training; leadership qualities, good computer skills, excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 

•    The ability to analyze data and trends is a must.  

•    Experienced with Excel and comfortable with the analysis of data sets

•    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

•    Strong computer skills are a must

•    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

•    Must have analytical thinking and decision-making competencies 

•    Strong aptitude for accounting is required
