Registered Nurse

Description

Clinic nursing position working with family medicine physicians, family medicine residents, and pediatric physician.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in care of both pediatric and family medicine patients.

• Direct patient to exam room, take a brief history, vital signs and record all medications and allergies.
• Performs care, treatments, and procedures under physician's order
• Assists in endoscopy procedures
• Schedule various procedures and or appointments with other physicians.
• Reports and tracks laboratory test results, and other diagnostic testing.
• Exhibits and promotes excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attitude.

Required Competencies

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with faculty and resident physicians.
• Must be able to work with patients and the public in a professional, confidential, and calm fashion.
• Proficiency working with electronic health records.
• Strong attention to detail, as well as proper oral/written communication skills
• Strong computer skills with experience in electronic health records.

Minimum Requirements

• Associates degree in nursing
• RN licensure in the State of North Dakota, or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
• Successful completion of criminal history records check.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a family medicine or primary care clinical setting.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

• $20/hour, Full-Time, Benefited

Work Schedule/Start Date

Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, start date approximately December 16, 2020
