Edgewood Healthcare is seeking a full stack developer that can implement solutions that range from front-end websites or mobile applications, to backend services and components.
You will work in a small team environment to create and deploy web applications and platforms that solve real problems for our end users, and this role will focus primarily on back-end Python web development and database administration.

Edgewood Healthcare is seeking a full stack developer that can implement solutions that range from front-end websites or mobile applications, to backend services and components.
You will work in a small team environment to create and deploy web applications and platforms that solve real problems for our end users, and this role will focus primarily on back-end Python web development and database administration.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum required skills:
- Enjoy being a generalist working on both the front-end, backend, and doing anything it takes to solve problems and deliver what users need.
- 3+ years Python 3.x development experience building and deploying web applications.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
- Extensive knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS is a plus.
- Comfort with basic system administration in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with the ETL process and principles of data warehousing. Analyzing data, generating, exporting or converting resident/employee/patient data in various formats.
- Help translate customer and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effectively collaborate with peers and maintains effective communication with all team members.
- Deliver flexible, maintainable solutions to meet end user's changing business needs.
- Writes quality code: source control, testing, and clear documentation are all musts.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, and 4+ years of experience in a collaborative development environment, preferred.
- Motivated, self-trained individuals will be considered based on prior equivalent industry experience.
