Join our growing client's operations as they have a new career opportunity as a Finishing Associate in Sun Prairie, WI !
Duties / Requirements
* Assist with the setup and operation of stitchers, folders, perfect binder, and other finishing equipment.
* Make boxes, feed pockets, box finished products, make labels, stuff envelopes, jog, stack and sort product.
* Understand the job ticket and other specifications of an assigned job.
* Understand the standards as explained on the goal sheets and work toward achieving the goals.
* Recognition of and sorting of different forms.
* Jog all paper into uniform lifts.
* Conduct periodic quality checks
* Monitor production and quality
* Understand customer packaging specifications
* Pack skids per instructions
* Assist in sorting, palletizing and bagging of mail per postal regulations.
* Understand and comply with safety procedures regarding the operation of equipment & organizational policies.
* Participate in, support and drive 5S and lean activities in the finishing department.
Qualifications
* Previous manufacturing experience.
* Previous experience in a printing environment is a plus.
* Word processing knowledge.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with little or no instruction.
* Problem analysis and problem resolution abilities.
* Language skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret various types of correspondence.
* Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

Pay: $12.00 / hr. 8 hour Shifts second shift, M-F 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Additional compensation is provided for 12-hour, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

8-hour 3 rd shift
