This position is responsible for protecting campus property and maintaining the security of campus buildings, facilities, parking lots, walkways and grounds during non-business hours (including weekends and holidays) as assigned. This position may be required to perform incidental custodial and maintenance duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; valid Driver's License; must have a flexible schedule (hours will be Saturday-Wednesday, 11PM-7AM); ability to lift and move 50 lbs, bend, climb, stand and walk on different types of terrain for long periods of time; ability to use a computer, follow oral instructions and read written instructions, communicate effectively, and maintain records; work with little supervision. This position requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Security work experience and great customer service skills preferred.
Compensation:
$28,000-$31,000. Comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid full family coverage for health insurance, NDPERS retirement, and tuition waiver benefits.
