What you'll do at Walmart Stores We're looking for skilled individuals who are knowledgeable, professional and above all, committed to giving our customers the highest level of service. Duties and Responsibilities * Read and interpret physician's medication orders * Prepare and package medications requiring special handling in accordance with safety measures * Aid in filling, processing, and dispensing medications * Re-package and label medications * Adhere to safety practices in order to ensure quality care for patients * Help maintain the drug inventory through inventory control practices * Provide customer service by answering phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner * Check for expiration dates on medications on a regular basis * Run the register to ring up customers medication and other items * Advertise company's events or promotions during any interaction with customers * Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required * No experience needed * Pharmacy technician registration/certification not required, company will aid you in getting one * Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure * Effective computer and keyboarding skills * Strong communication skills, both written and oral * Excellent customer service skill * Strong prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions independently and effectively * Able to operate equipment such as computers, scan guns, tablet counters, and cash registers * Flexible hours: any shifts including closing shifts & long shifts (Ex 11am-9pm, 2pm-9pm, 4pm-9pm) * Fast worker and learner * Strictly abide law & regulations of the state in the practice of pharmacy * Strong work ethic * Complies with company policies and regulations * Able to work with others as a team To apply, send resume to Walmart Supercenter # W Mccoy Blvd, Tomah, WI 54660 Walmart Store, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer - By Choice.
