Good Samaritan Society in Waconia has a rare opportunity for an LPN - Nurse Unit Coordinator!

Located near scenic Lake Waconia, Good Samaritan Society - Waconia & Westview Acres is a 92-bed 5
  • campus consisting of Senior Living, Rehabilitation & Skilled Care services. We're dedicated to creating an environment where people feel loved, valued and at peace.
  • Full-Time Day Shift - 830 am - 500 pm (includes every other weekend) - Shift times can vary
  • Primary responsibilities include processing daily orders and transcribing admissions orders
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with positive and friendly demeanor - being able to provide comfort and ease to residents and families during their admission process and adjustment period
  • Assists HIM with appointment and transportation needs
  • LPN Licensure required

Job Responsibilities
  • This position provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to perform the following according to location standards, procedures and individualized resident care plans.
  • Assures medications and treatments are administered to assigned residents following nursing standards of practice.
  • Updates care plan as needed.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensure for state of practice is required.
  • Basic ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities; knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
