Position Information
Opportunities exist for part-time, non-benefited, Accounting instructor to teach college-level Accounting: 102, 200, 201, and/or 218. We are hiring for both online and on-campus. On campus classes are currently taught Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 to 8:50; 9 to 9:50 and 1 to 1:50. Some flexibility exists for the days and times. Other responsibilities include submitting grades by the established deadline and other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and/or the Dean of Humanities, Arts and Sciences.
START DATE: 01/11/2021
POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Accounting, Business or Law OR Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credits in Accounting or Business or hold a CPA.
Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., electronic Calendar and E-mail, and strong Internet familiarity.
Preferred Qualifications
College teaching experience.
Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System
Experience with non-traditional teaching methods such as facilitating group work, use of inquiry-based and other active learning pedagogies, and/or contextualized instruction.
