Staffing Coordinator

Eventide on Eighth in Moorhead, MN is currently seeking a full time Staffing Coordinator to work 80 hours per pay period in our Care Center. The hours are 8:00a - 4:30p Monday through Friday.

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for arranging staff coverage for resident care departments based on established guidelines and needs as determined by the Director of Nursing and Resident Care Managers.

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma required
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Office and computer experience required
• Scheduling and/or Staffing experience preferred

Essential Job Functions

• Prepares and maintains schedules for all resident care staff. The schedule will be posted in advance and employees will be made aware of any changes made to the schedule
• Creates and maintains schedule rotations for each employee.
• Monitors schedules on a daily basis, securing replacements as needed to ensure adequate nursing coverage
• Informs Human Resources department of hiring needs
• Schedule orientation on the floor with new hires
• Supports and maintains effective and positive communication and working relations with all staff.
• Answer the telephone; relay messages and requests to unit personnel, provide appropriate information to callers when possible, and transfers c all s to appropriate persons.
• Assist with staff replacement under the direction of the Charge Nurse or DON
