JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a developer contractor to work in an exciting, very fast-paced environment. As an application developer on the team, you will have the ability and empowerment to make changes and go fast. You will have the opportunity to work on moving Polaris for SOA, cloud initiatives, mobile applications, and other development projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect, design, code, test and debug responsive web applications
Well rounded developer with strong front end and moderate back end experience involved with working in technologies:
Strong working experience in:
HTML 5, CSS3, SASS, BEM, JavaScript.
Angular 9 or newer.
Material 9 or newer.
Rxjs 6 or newer.
ECMA script 2016 or newer.
Object Orientated Programming principles.
Source code management using Git.
Some working experience and knowledge of .NET Core 3, Entity Framework Core 3, SQL Server 2019.
NGRX or other state management experience is not required.
Well versed in utilizing dev tools to be able to effectively demonstrate identifying and resolving front end issues.
Work with users and staff to resolve business problems.
Support, maintain and administer deployed solutions.
Participate in development of product using scrum methodologies.
Attend and participate in project and administrative meetings.
Plan and design information structure and architecture by studying the site concept, strategy and envisioning architectural scheme, information structure, features, functionality and user interface.
Collaborate with project owners, UI/UX designers, marketing managers, to refine the user experience.
Create guidelines and best practices for UI development.
Formulate system scope and objectives to create or modify an application.
Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
Open to advice, critique and suggestions by other team members through code reviews or other means of delivering feedback.
Open to reach out for help when direction is not clear, path to completion is blocked, code is too complex, design has issues, refactoring is required or any other situation that impedes delivering business features or bug fixes.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Must Have:
5-7 years of experience in building front end for the web.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Significant experience with Angular, Material, Rxjs, Typescript, Javascript, HTML and SCSS.
Experienced in building Responsive UI.
Application of languages and IDEs as tools to problem solving.
Have a good understanding of editors, IDEs, including open source alternatives.
Able to diagnose and visualize changes necessary for certain problems and understand impacts and articulate Design Patterns and when they should be used.
Have significant development experience using different types of languages and be able to articulate the pros and cons of each.
Significant experience building cross browser applications in an object oriented environment using application development technologies including web services, Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, CSS3, SASS, BEM, Angular 9, Material 9, ECMA 2016, Angular CLI, MVC.
