Description:
- Salesforce Architect/ Engineering Lead .
Projects the candidate will be working on:
- M&R Sales and Marketing CRM. We are building a brand new Salesforce implementation to replace a legacy vendor application called bConnected
Team and Team size:
- Initially this role will work with an implementation partner with variable team size with both and local and global team members. Longer term this role will be working with a global team of approximately 10-15 team members
Top Responsibilities:
- Define technical architecture for the Salesforce environment
- Execute and lead team on software development strategies.
- Provide technical architecture strategy and guideance for Salesforce rollouts, and assist with design for adoption stategy.
- Validate architecture and design to support business value
- Promote reusability of functionality within Salesforce platform, including integration components
- Identify, communicate, and manaage risks that may interfere with project execution or success
- Design, code, and test a variety of custom business applications.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing and quality assurance procedures and plans.
- Assist in development of project plans, budgets and resource requirements.
- Monitor system performance and code quality of other team members.
Software tools/skills:
- Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Agile development processes, continuous integration, and deployments.
- User Interface experience using Salesforce Visual Force, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Lightening, jQuery, REACT JS, Angular, AJAX
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON)
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers and Classes, SOQL, Force.com Tool and Toolkits
- Experience in working with Salesforce Workflow Rules and Approvals, Visual Flow, Process Builder and Salesforce limitations.

Skills/attributes:
- 1) Salesforce experience
- 2) Team partnership and leadership experience,
- 3) Predilection for using Salesforce out of box with as little customization as possible,
- 4) Enterprise integration mindset, .
Nice to have:
- Familiar with integration approaches and tools including Salesforce Connect and oData and ETL tools (i.e., Mulesofts Dataloader or Informatica ETL)
- Familiar with Salesforce Sites
- Experience in using testing automation tools like Selenium
- Understanding of design principles, technically scalable data modeling, and Force.com development best practices.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real time and batch process (sync/async)
- Knowledge automated deployment / DevOps tools and technologies
- Knowledge of source control management tools such as Git
- Experience working as a technical lead on an Agile delivery team
- Strong solution design and problem solving skills
