UI Motion Designer

Responsibilities:

Create visually stunning designs for responsive web data visualization, storytelling UI layouts and creating prototypes.
Create modern illustrations by hand and animated graphics in flat and 3d isometric style.
Develop UI motion design patterns for reuse and consistency though design and code in partnership with developers.
Create innovative solutions to problem solve unique motion and storytelling challenges
Work directly with UI/UX designers, product owners and developers to ensure design is properly applied to the product and on time.
Actively seek to understand business requirements to develop solutions.

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
Ability to quickly brainstorm ideas and rapid prototype motion experiences with developers.
Inject design processes into agile development cycles.
Comfortable presenting work and working with feedback.
Excels at creating illustrations, color, typography, composition.
Strong understanding of data visualization design.
Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability.

Requirements:

3+ years in UI responsive design experience, motion graphic design, illustration.
An amazing portfolio of motion graphics, illustrations, UI product design, responsive web.
Expert in Adobe Suite programs; After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, AE Plugins and other relevant motion design programs. Sketch, InVision.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Comfortable communicating with team members across different time zones.
Bachelor's degree in related field desired.
