Safety Director

Ulland Brothers has an immediate opening for the position of
Safety Director. The position is responsible for our operations managed out of all three offices with the majority of the time spent in Northeastern MN.

Responsibilities:
 Project site safety, maintenance shop safety, and office safety.
 Lead in promoting safety requirements stated in safety manual.
 Investigate accidents, damage to equipment.
 Coordinate with claims adjusters and investigators following workplace incidents.
 Assemble, report, and maintain required safety information to local, federal agencies, customers, and insurance companies.
 Monitor any and all local, state, and federal safety standards and regulations.
 Monitor and enforce workers compensation and general liability rules and guidelines.
 Assist in evaluating and recommending insurance coverage for company.
 Follow and enforce company policies.

Qualifications:
 Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
 Possess strong written and communication skills
 Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
 Able to work independently and interact with all levels of personnel
 Expert Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations as applicable
