This stable, established, growing, high-precision manufacturing company is looking to hire a full time, permanent Strategic Manufacturing Planning Manager. The successful candidates duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
* Managing machine capacity planning
* Managing ERP/MRP for inventory
* Participating with the estimation group
* Aiding production control requirements to meet customer timelines
* Working with corporate management regarding manufacturing and delivery management issues and benchmarks
* Overseeing the production control group
* Determining metrics
* Evaluating lead-times verses capacity
* Acting as the customer delivery issue point of contact
* Forecasting delivery projections
* Participating in employer scheduling
* Conducting meeting
The successful candidate will have the following background:
* Six years of production management experience in a precision metal machining environment
* Three years of experience supervising precision metal machining in a ISO-related quality certified environment
