Firmware Engineer

**Responsibilities:**+ Develop and refine engineering requirements based on marketing and user needs+ Implement the design of new firmware applications and libraries+ Peer-review software designs and source code+ Establish and execute test procedures for software applications and subsystems+ Ensure on-time delivery of firmware that meets all requirements+ The Firmware Engineer will ideally be able to write C code from scratch, as well as modify existing code, and then be able to test and validate that code+ Ability to program in C on microcontroller level. Ability to modify existing code and recommend ways to test the code the candidate has developed.**Qualifications:**+ 5 years recent experience writing C code on 32 bit microcontrollers+ Recent experience doing some validation of their own code**About Aerotek:****Your success starts with the right career opportunity.
