Design Technician IICareers that Change LivesThis position will provide Mechanical Technician support for the Hardware Development team on RTG Implantable products such as neurostimulator and implantable pump systems for Deep Brain Stimulation, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Sacral Nerve Modulation and Targeted Drug Delivery. The individual will support all phases of product development including concept definition, design, troubleshooting, characterization, and verification of implantable devices. The individual will be an integral part of the R organization delivering the highest quality, life changing technology to our patientsA Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.??? The candidate will support engineering team in the definition, characterization and verification of implantable medical devices for Medtronic Neurological as part of the product development cycle.??? Execute design characterization and design verification testing??? Collect raw data manually or via Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) following good documentation practices??? Perform and support Product Development activities such as equipment qualifications, non-product software validations, and test method validationsMust Have: Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experienceNice to Have??? Experience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated industry??? Strong "hands on" skills, with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams???
