SHINE is immediately looking to fill an exciting new role in a growing team dedicated to developing non-carrier added lutetium-177 for cancer therapies. This person will manage the execution of chemical experiments, lead design efforts for production equipment and interact with team members to optimize and scale production. A strong background in chemical handling is required along with a desire to step into multiple roles as needed. This person is a leader in the field of process and equipment design and will provide influence into getting processes developed and turned over to production. This is a fast-paced product development cycle to help cure some of life-threatening forms of cancer and is looking for team members that fit well into this environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develops test plans, having the primary responsibility for following protocolsCo-develops test plans, providing experience and ideas for process developmentFollows the lead of other scientists and engineers in developing equipment for processing and protectionAssists in all aspects of the production process from procurement to receipt, design, execution and chemical analysisResponsible for maintaining laboratory functions and other routine tasks as requiredAssists other projects and departments as requiredSome travel may be requiredOvertime may sometimes be necessary to complete required work assignment with little or no advance noticeRequirements: BS in Chemical/Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry, Radiochemistry or Physics with 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience in Laboratory operations is requiredDemonstrated experience with manufacturing within FDA GMP regulatory requirements is highly desired.Experience or knowledge of nuclear process equipment and instrumentation is highly desiredWillingness to learn and understand new technology, instrumentation and technical processesAbility to read from engineering drawings or schematicsAbility to follow written procedures and accurately record test dataAbility to work safely within an industrial and radiation environment
