Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Process Engineer to join our growing team.You will be responsible for continuous improvement in process, cost, quality and production. Manages assigned Process Engineering projects, responsible for execution of process validation projects and resolves process engineering challenges. Provides strategic input for business development that affect the functional area and works cross-functionally to resolve complex operations issues. Provides technical input to process engineering team and cross-functional teams.Major Areas of Accountability:Process design and developmentAutomation and batch controlsContinuous improvementProcess Validation & process risk managementOther duties as assignedEssential Qualifications:BS in Engineering or related discipline 0-3+ years of experience applying degreeExperience preparing technical presentations and proposals for business development activities Experience acting as a project manager and capable of determining accurate project budget and delivery schedules. Experience authoring test plans, executing test plans and authoring technical reportsMust possess good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and tasks; analyze complex data and plan continuous improvement activitiesPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, manufacturing processes, automation and batch controlsExperience authoring and executing process risk assessments, process validation protocols and reports3+ years of experience in a regulated industry (Med Device, Pharma or similar) with strong working knowledge of applicable regulations.Skilled in project management, problem solving, activity coordination and implementationEnvironmental, Health and Safety Responsibilities:This position will support Coloplast Manufacturing EHS Goals and Objectives: Enforce all company Environment, Health, and Safety policies. Ensure employees are properly trained.Provide detailed instructions for job performance and explain hazards and safety precautions in assigning employees to a task.Plan the work to be certain that employees, material and equipment are available to perform task safely.Promptly report all incidents in area(s) of responsibility.
