The Marketing Strategist will gain a thorough understanding of the client's marketing goals, including: channels, tactics, offers, creative, audience, competitive environment, budgets and expected yields. Provide industry thought leadership across vertical markets with recommendations that optimize and enhance clients' direct marketing campaigns. Duties include:

Leverage market, customer, competitive and best practice insights to develop executable customer strategies for multi-channel direct marketing campaigns to achieve measurable program success.
Develop and manage team deployment of marketing strategies using tactical matrices incorporating multivariate testing that drives continual optimization of direct marketing efforts.
Develop short and long term integrated direct marketing plans and budgets directing clients toward appropriate and effective levels of spend and channel mix.
Read and interpret quantitative models and analyses to help clients succeed in marketing effectiveness, ROI, and channel selection.
Collaborate with internal/external partners to create and present marketing, media and advertising plans, as well as predictive modeling and analytics solutions from inception through Back End analysis and campaign monitoring.
In collaboration with IWCO Direct's Sales, and Agency teams, lead the development of marketing presentations, campaign plans and creative briefs, articulating key insights and a clear point of view.
Provide high level direction to Group Account Directors, Sr. Account Managers, Copywriters and Artists to design winning marketing campaigns.
Provide hands-on leadership to the Marketing Services and sales teams to successfully manage client marketing engagements.
Confidently position IWCO Direct products, services, and industry experience through consultative engagements with existing and potential clients.
Ensure quality standards are met and customers receive state-of-the-art processing, marketing/creative support, and account servicing.
Minimum Experience/Education Requirements:

4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent working experience; MBA a plus.
Senior Level marketer with 10+ years enterprise level experience. Ideal candidate will have client and agency/consulting experience focused on direct response marketing programs with a strong focus on direct mail.
A strong understanding of the role of core direct marketing channels within a successful marketing mix. Expertise in Direct Mail required. A strong understanding of the appropriate use of Direct Mail, Search, Social, Display, and other direct marketing channels and proficiency in recommending appropriate utilization of such tactics to clients.
Demonstrates strong proficiency in the utilization of analytical tools for direct marketing campaigns, including segmentation and modeling, and Back End response analysis.
Exceptional ability to communicate complicated concepts simply and clearly including experience preparing and delivering presentations to clients, agencies, vendors, and internal cross-functional groups.
Requires experience developing and utilizing multivariate test and control approach to measure the impact of strategic changes, develop insights and drive strategies.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PPT.
Position requires 25-50% travel.
