DescriptionAccountemps is looking for a tax preparer with recent experience and knowledge of current tax changes. To include preparation of individual, corporation and partnership returns. Accounting experience is a must with an knowledge of QuickBooks or adaptability to new software.Job Responsibilities:??? Prepare individual and small business tax returns - 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, as well as 940 & 941 for a group of clients.??? Work directly with individuals and small businesses. Obtain necessary information from clients in-person, electronically, and over the phone to prepare tax returns.??? Investigate and diagnose a client's individual and/or business tax problems; draft solution-oriented recommendations, strategies and arguments addressing specific clients' tax issues.??? Review accounting entries, general ledger, balance sheet and income statement for clients depending on experience level.Requirements??? Experience in preparing individual and business tax returns and tax planning.??? Attention to detail and thoroughness??? Familiar with tax software and knowledge in accounting.??? Personable and comfortable dealing with clients one on one.??? Solid written and verbal skills.??? Ability to learn quickly. You will be given adequate training and support.???
