Job DetailsLevelExperiencedJob LocationAugusta Office - Augusta, WIPosition TypeFull TimeEducation Level2 Year DegreeSalary RangeUndisclosedTravel PercentageUp to 25%Job ShiftAnyJob CategorySalesDescriptionLooking for an Experienced Sales ManagerPOSITION SUMMARYThe Building Sales Specialist is involved from start to finish in the customer's building experience which involves marketing, design, sales, the management of the building process, completion of project, collecting payment and turning over the keys to the customer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for advertising and marketing in their territory to inform individuals of what we can provide them in the form building projects that will generate customer leads and future business. The company will compliment these efforts with marketing from our corporate headquarters.All Sales Specialists will be required to go through an extensive training program in which the individual will be exposed to the methods/techniques of Walters Buildings sales and construction management.Arranges and conducts meetings with the potential customer to evaluate their initial needs and desires, while working with a support team of professionals from their local construction center and the corporate headquarters. These individuals working together will compile a plan that meeting or exceeding the customers' current and future needs.Acts as a liaison between the customer and Walters' corporate offices, the Sales Specialist will complete all offers to purchase and contractual paperwork between the customer, the company and the subcontracting team.Once the building project has been approved and all parties are in agreement, the Sales Specialist will oversee the project during the construction process and during the warranty program.Keep current with and ensure the Walters Buildings safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards are being applied to every building.Communicate with the customer on all contractual aspects of the project.Promote safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment.Provide Project Management to include plan reading, scheduling, coordinating suppliers and subcontractors and project completion.Collect payments from customers and forward to corporate office.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducationRequires education generally equivalent to an associate degree or 5 years of construction, sales or customer service experience.SKILLS & ABILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
