Our client is looking for a consultant for its website redesign project. Our client is seeking a creative Web Developers that can work alongside our software application team to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with a strong knowledge of content management platforms, and an ability to translate the business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand their website's influence. This position will be responsible for helping with the updating current online applications.

Candidate will primarily be responsible for back-end/module development. The back-end developer would be someone who would be able to write custom Drupal 9 modules. They would be able to port the existing integrations and add to them as needed.

These initiatives require the candidate to operate somewhat independently, think critically and align to our vision/mission and follow-through on solutions to completion.

NOTE: Initially these positions will be remote positions due to COVID-19 but when the college opens back up the consultant will be required to be on site. Local Candidates preferred

Location: Madison, WI

Contract: Potential 1 year

Skills Required:

1-3 years experience in the following:

  • Experience performing web development related work
  • Experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
  • Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
  • Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as Views, Workbench, and Webform.
  • Experience creating custom Drupal modules (preference of Drupal 8/9 knowledge)
  • Knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
  • Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
  • Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
  • Experience with Git as a version control system
  • Demonstrable skills for website redesign project
