We are looking for an organized and motivated individual with a willingness to gain knowledge in a wide variety of areas. This position will be required to maintain product flow while seeking solutions to technical or production issues through communication with production and engineering departments.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate creation of purchase orders and communication of technical requirements for outside services including heat treat, machining, testing, etc. This involves transfer of requirements from the shop order & Engineering/Quality documents to PO requisitions and direct communication with vendors.Verification and approval of outside services certifications. This includes evaluating certifications such as heat treat charts to insure that purchased services have been completed properly. Evaluation of product prior to outside services and upon return to verify requirements have been met. This may include simple dimensional and/or visual inspection of components.Responsible for organization of material test area. Regular but limited auditing of internal work instructions and external vendor audits as required by Quality Department.Assist coordination of "New Part" and engineering trials between Production and Engineering Departments.QualificationsQualifications: To be successful the candidate should have the following attributes, skills, or experience:Demonstrated organizational, time management skills, strong work ethic, motivation and discipline.Able to follow written and verbal instruction with minimal supervisionHigh attention to detail and desire to be a team player.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar, comfortable with computer usage and willingness to learn new programs.High School diploma or GED required, post High School education is beneficial.Manufacturing or Quality experience in a production environment preferred.
