The Senior Data Architect manages design, development, and deployment of reporting and analytic solutions for business units. Works with clients to determine reporting/visualization requirements, and design and develop solutions that deliver actionable intelligence. Ensures solutions are highly usable, scalable, maintainable and cost-effective while conforming to industry best practices design principles. Administers the reporting environments and participate in production support duties.

In this role you will:

• Design, model, manage, and document structural changes to custom databases, ensuring adherence to WPS standards.
• Develop, publish, and enforce standards and procedures governing design of custom databases.
• Communicate with vendors to understand and document vendor database designs for use by WPS teams.
• Maintain corporate logical and physical data models that adhere to standards.
• Provide on-going project-level data analysis support for consistent, accurate, and complete data requirements and definitions.
• Provide advice, guidance, and support to application developers on access and use of data.
• Provide training and consultation to business associates regarding data architecture terminology, concepts, and practices.
• Design and instantiate environments to sufficient specification in order to support a diversity of business data needs.
• Provide design and implementation guidance for Data Engineers and BI developers.
• Implement re-usable modules and testing scripts for use by Data Engineers and BI developers.
