We are a homegrown electronics manufacturer for US based companies that need security or communication products. Our mission to stay close to our customers is what keeps us specialized so all engineering, production and shipping are done right here in the United States and have been that way for years. We need a Firmware Engineer for a contract-to-hire role that is proficient in kernel and driver level development so if you're excited to work on new products or even help make existing products even better, this is for you!
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working in a small engineering team to design and develop firmware for Linux based products. To be successful in this role, you will need to be both comfortable working on your own but also be a team player. You will be assigned to a project where the kernel is complete but you will be expected to start programming in Embedded C to start running applications that go with the product. You should have a high level mindset in order to create realistic deadlines for the software development and in turn, put in the work to see those deadlines met. Kernel and driver level experience is needed for this job.
