Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

#missioncritical The nursing assistant performs various duties in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the training and established methods and procedures of the hospital.

The nursing assistant provides care and treatment to patients as directed by a nurse.

The nursing assistant may enter the secured medication rooms to deliver or access supplies and equipment necessary to carry out the core function of their job (oxygen, thermometers, etc.).


Qualifications

Required Education * High School graduate or equivalent

  • Required Licensure and Certifications * State certification
  • BLS required on hire
