Douglas County Social Services has an opening for an Eligibility Worker,
Full Time Weekdays, $19.60/Hourly (pending board approval)

This position is responsible to perform a variety of tasks related to the determination of eligibility for Public Assistance programs (Cash Programs, Emergency Programs, Food Support & Health Care Programs). Duties include review of cases to assess fit with program rules & ensuring complete & accurate case documentation. The work environment is fast-paced with changing priorities. One must be organized & detail-oriented with a keen interest in helping others.
