We are hiring for a Human Resources Generalist to oversee HR operations for a company in Plymouth! This role would work in conjunction with the CFO and manage the day-to-day HR responsibilities for a 120 person company.
  • Execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Payroll processing which includes: Collecting and verifying time sheets. Entering employee information and payroll data into the system. Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll. Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions, etc.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with quarterly and annual reviews of benefit plans and facilitate annual benefit open enrollment
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or relevant degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • TWO (2) years' experience in a human resource experience in all areas of HR including recruiting, benefits, payroll, and compliance
  • Experience in Ceridian and/or Dayforce is a HUGE PLUS
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy
