As the VP of Business Banking you will play a key role in the growth and success of Think's Business Banking team, providing strategic vision for Business Banking, coaching and developing Think's Business team and delivering Think's brand promise of ensuring financial care for Think's business customers in our communities.

As a leader and coach, you will develop and maintain a customer-focused management team focused on promoting the success and advancement of the Business Banking staff. You will encourage and motivate your employees to deliver an outstanding customer experience while maintaining focus and energy to achieve Think's strategic goals.

You will develop and expand relationships with key community stakeholders and business partners to support Think's customers and lead the Business Banking growth strategy. You will serve as an active and key member in Think's local business communities engaging in business networking and community activities, actively building a professional network and promoting the Think brand.

The VP of Business Banking will collaborate with organizational leaders to ensure organizational synergy in meeting customers' needs and advance opportunities for Business Banking. You will ensure that your teams have the resources needed to achieve our strategic initiatives and champion and cultivate strong integration of Think's products and services to carry out Think's mission and positively impact the financial wellbeing of Think's customers.

The ideal candidate will have leadership background and experience as well as extensive banking product knowledge, advanced credit skills, and a strong belief in a relationship-based approach to uncovering the financial needs of our customers.

This position will be located at Think's headquarters in Rochester, MN.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
  • 10 years' financial services experience including commercial banking
  • 5 years' business customer development and relationship experience establishing a diverse professional network. Strong deposit, cash management and business lending experience, including Commercial Real Estate and Commercial and Industrial Lending
  • 5 years' experience leading and developing teams
