IT Specialist

Riverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time IT Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

What You'll Be Doing:

??? Providing technical assistance and support for users, computer systems, software, and hardware

??? Training users on basic computer usage

??? Maintaining computer systems

??? Installing, modifying, cleaning up, and repairing computer hardware, peripherals, and software

??? Running diagnostic programs and asking questions to determine the nature of a problem

??? Resolving technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems

??? Responding to users seeking help via email, chat, and phone calls as well as providing deskside support

??? Using industry standard management tools, event monitoring, and ticket management

??? Performing other related duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

??? High school diploma or GED required

??? Demonstrable proficiency in Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, Microsoft Office applications, and common PC hardware

??? A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred but not required

??? 3 to 5 years of experience in similar role

??? Must be available for varying shifts depending on need

??? Must be able to participate in on-call/after-hours support

??? Excellent customer service skills

??? Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills

??? Ability to work efficiently within a team

??? Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver's license

??? Ability to travel when required

??? Must have ability to lift 60 lbs. as well as know and use proper lifting techniques

??? Must be able to pass drug screening and background check

??? Punctuality and tenacity required
