Riverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing:

??? Providing technical assistance and support for incoming questions and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

??? Training computer users on basic usage of computer systems

??? Maintaining daily performance of computer systems

??? Walking customers through problem-solving processes to find root cause of system issues

??? Installing, modifying, cleaning up, and repairing computer hardware, software, workstations, and servers

??? Running diagnostic programs and asking questions to determine nature of problem, and then resolving problems

??? Resolving technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems

??? Installing computer peripherals for users

??? Responding to questions from customers seeking help either via email, in person, or over the phone

??? Following up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved

??? Using company's systems management tool to monitor events, manage ticket system, and ensure clients' environments are running optimally

??? Doing network cabling installation work (pulling, terminating, troubleshooting, climbing ladders)

??? Performing other related duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

??? High school diploma or GED

??? A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred but not required

??? 1-year experience in similar role preferred but not required

??? Must be available for varying shifts depending on customers' needs

??? Excellent customer service skills

??? Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills

??? Ability to work efficiently within a team

??? Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver's license (part of the responsibilities will be to drive a company vehicle)

??? Ability to travel when required (10%-15% travel)

??? Must have ability to lift 60 lbs. as well as know and use proper lifting techniques

??? Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
