Truck Shop Service Technician

Our mission is to build long term relationships with our customers, founded on trust, generating mutual growth and success.Responsibilities:The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:Diagnose and repair all makes and models of truck enginesDiagnose and repair electrical systems on trucks and trailersRepair of truck chassis to include air system, brakes, driveline, lighting, etc.Communicate professionally with customers on repairsMust be able to lift up to 70 lbsWork overtime as workload dictatesWork in other areas of shop as assignedTravel for work, to other BMC and customer locationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentComplete service reports and parts orders accurately and timelyOther duties as assignedQualifications:Individuals applying for this position should have:Two year associates degree in related field preferredExcellent customer service skills and an outgoing personalityAbility to assemble and disassemble componentsTroubleshooting and repair of truck enginesAbility to work with minimal supervisionGood computer skillsAbility to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicleBenefits:As a family business for three generations, we currently employ over 800 associates in 18 locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
