Job Title: Electrical Systems TechnicianLocation: Waukesha WIDuration: Direct HirePay: $25.00-$28.00/hr DOEKelly Services is seeking an Electrical Systems Technician for a customer in Waukesha WI. Candidates will be required to travel in this role but minimally.**Job Description:** Under the direction of the Electrical Shop Manager, the Electrical Systems Technician uses schematics to wire panels and other various electrical components, wire field devices like sensors and switches, fits and assembles wire way or conduit according to assembly blueprints. The Electrical Systems Technician also fabricates various bracketry from prints or shop inventory to support auxiliary electrical components.Essential Duties & Responsibilities??? Wire electrical sub-panels from schematics and customer specifications.??? Modify enclosures as required to fit components.??? Operate a variety of labeling devices and machines.??? Install cord grips, hardware, flexible and rigid conduit to interconnect enclosures.??? Light fabrication and mechanical assembly.??? Proficient with industry electrical code, NEC, ANSI, NFPA, and OSHA??? Must have own set of tools??? Organize and maintain electrical schematics, shop materials, job inventory and tools to ensure that the panel shop portrays a professional image.??? Assist the Electrical Shop Manager in maintaining the shop schedule and workload in order to keep it realistic and on time.??? Must be able to work night and weekends required??? Travel of 2-3 weeks 2-3 times per year is required??? Comply with all quality and safety regulations.??? Other responsibilities as assigned.Education/Experience??? Education equivalent to a High School diploma required.??? Vocational or Technical College training preferred??? 3+ years' experience building custom electrical panels??? Must have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, electrical code manuals, and other manufacturing instructions??? Working knowledge of machine construction and operation, electrical schematics, electrical components, wire gages, electrical standards and wiring troubleshooting skills.??? Experienced in the use of different electrical, pneumatic and other hand tools??? Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook??? Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry.??? Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.???
