Demonstrate ability to communicate, work and assist a variety of people including other trades to accomplish the desired result.

Build, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment in as efficient a manner as possible, while being consistent with good electrical safety practices.

Obey all safety rules, maintain cleanliness of the work area and perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Group Leader.

Must be able to work odd hours if needed, including weekends and holidays.

Must be willing to travel to different work sites based on business needs.

Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.

Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.

Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.

Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.



Job Requirements:
  • Understanding of low, AC and DC voltage
  • Absolutely must have Master Electrician License
  • Installing AC and DC power cabinets
  • Commercial electric 100-800 amp services
  • Roof top wiring
  • Installing underground, EMT, rigid, and riser conduit
  • Proficient in battery plant and power plant installs
  • Ability to read construction drawings to identify core drills within buildings
  • Alarming (site, battery and power plant, generator, etc.)
  • Responsible for pulling and closing electrical and building permits
