Job Summary

Provides continuous observation of assigned patient(s). Works under the direction of clinical staff. Provides continuous supervision for patients who are at risk for falls, pulling at lines, are mildly confused or impulsive. Communicates patient care needs to nursing staff.

Department Details

These are casual positions with scheduling flexibilities which may be beneficial to those working around other work schedules or school schedules. This position will be utilized in a number of patient areas at the Medical Center and will provide a good experience to those considering work/education in the healthcare setting.

Qualifications

High school graduation or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
Knowledge of the health care environment is preferred.
