Bremer Insurance Agency is seeking a Sales Director to be responsible for the business line sales strategy and management across Bremer's footprint. Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and direction to the Insurance sales team thru coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development
Actively recruit top sales talent
Responsible to develop relationships with internal bank partners to make joint calls and maximize insurance and bank revenue
Promote a sales and customer service focused culture
Develop sales goals, analyze sales production data, identify effective sales strategies based on the unique style, motivations, and skillsets of each salesperson, and guide employees to achieve objectives
Develop salespeople to become sales leaders thru coaching, driving accountability on the business plan and Bremer Advantage Reviews on all clients
Conduct monthly sales meetings to drive consistency, identify opportunities, and develop and deliver training for continued development and learning
Serve as a member of the Bremer senior leadership team influencing the strategic direction of the business line
Qualifications
Combination of education and experience which enables the incumbent to be successful in the role is generally acquired through the attainment of a bachelor's degree and 10 years of sales leadership experience
Experience with insurance sales
Ability to develop and execute various sales strategies
Working knowledge of insurance products and retirement plan investments
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and recordkeeping software The ideal candidate for this position would exemplify: strong writing, presentation, and project management skills with particular attention to detail and adherence to deadlines; interpersonal skills and leadership skills; strong organization skills, ability to influence others, problem solving skills, creative thinking, collaboration; and proven success in building, leading and working in teams.
